Are their settings in Windows that may be interfering with Emby's ability to see DLNA devices? I chalk that up to the beta status, though, and I know Microsoft is doing some serious problem-solving in that area even now. I have successfully got .MKV files showing and playing correctly in Windows Media Player but the Play To menu option when right clicking the file is not available for .MKV files. still won't show.

In Windows 8.1 you used to be able to just cast your screen or specific apps to xbox with the charms menu under devices play to... Now these DLNA devices do not appear in the Play To menu, although they appear in my Network folder on the server.
