Second, I noticed that another process called Microsoft search indexer kept running and used around 30% of CPU (on average). I've searched on Reddit as well as on some other forums and it seems to be a pretty widespread issue. From about 7 hours I'm now lucky to get 3. I might be wrong, but personally I'd ask the shop for a replacement and if that one performs just the same, the consider an alternative. So I'll have to skype on another device and bring a webcam if I travel with this and need it.

Update 4: Machine running optimally now. While the better color accuracy would have been useful, it is not that important to me yet. Unfortunately, so is the buzzing sound on any monitor movement. I don't play games but I've gotten into video editing and this is the reason I needed a dedicated graphics card.
