It would be because of someconflict between the intel and nvidia gpu. Open it. I have been playing Farcry4 on High and really scorching that CPU, no freezes. Flair your posts!

It really happened by itself, I was working on another computer while xps15 waiting for me, showing empty desktop with standard startup (with all the dell bloatware running in the background So not perfect but no BSOD. How do you know it's hard drive related? EDIT: re-phrased my question.

A panel will open with an option for "global settings" for "preferred graphics processor" - select "high performance nvidia processor". I was getting all kinds of BSOD errors. I still have my old machine so I decided to compare the hardware from the old to the new.
