again, thank you! I closed Outlook, bounced Excel again and everything was back to normal. Some days I go fine as well, I can't pin point it exactly, but I'm sure something is preventing the commands and it's not actually the clipboard that is the problem. As for issues with remote desktop, I've never had any issues (and I use RDP at least several times a week). Under SmartRAM's settings, one of the check marks you can put in there is "Clean Clipboard". I am exasperated trying to fix the problem. Since then many people have discovered the same symptoms were caused by many other things.

Also did the command prompt, said errors were fixed. I upgraded my browser to Internet Explorer 9, but did not update my Adobe Flashplayer to the newest version. My guess is no, you'll spend hundreds of hours trying to figure out how you can save those precious handfulls of milliseconds, might even try another snake oil vendors "solution" that Paste Option Disabled In Windows 7 Does any of this sound like it would exacerbate a copy/paste issue?
